Bay is perfect try to sign for 1 year due to fact that he was loyal to pirates with guarantee to sign him to 5 or 6 year deal if he has great year. price in league dictates at least 60 million ,step up and spend money and stop jerking your fans. bay is a class act and pirate fans deserve a player of his character to lead this team. Doumit has potential to be a switch hitting power catcher rare commodity again has been good for this team. Mccutchen should be offered a deal now before he gets away. Do not let him be the giants leftfielder for the next decade aka. Bonds get the deal done. Jones is the best thing to come along cheap since N. Morgan i feel you maximized that trade and got future coser and Milledge which has high upside.I wish N. Morgan well and appreciate his effort in pirate uniform. lineup of mccutchen,aki,jones,bay,doumit,alverez,milledge,cedeno,pitcher is respectable. Aldrerson looks like he could be a #1 starter need him to get there asap. I realize pirates will not spend Bay money but Tabata will not be ready till july but get him there asap. Clement looks like a hitter but he wants to be a catcher let him do it until Sanchez is ready. Do not trade Doumit unless mlb starter is in the deal and 2 prospects. clubs are low balling on offers but they want Doumit laugh and walk away. Quit buying 220-230 average hitters thats just a step above Mendoza line and pitchers with 500+ era. J Jarrimilo is nice back up.
