Rajai Davis and a PTBNL for Matt Morris. Is this a joke? DL you are a moron! I hope San Fran is picking up a hefty portion of his salary. Morris is a FA after the 2008 season, although there is a 2009 option.

What kind of GM doesn't take advantage and move our relief pitching?
I have no idea. SF was begging for anyone to take Morris. Only reason this may make sense is IF SF is eating a majority of the contract with Morris filling the number 5 starter role Armas was pegged with.
The PTBNL scares me, always does with DL. We now have 2 PTBNL in recent deals.
My other thought on the trade revolves around a false team payroll inflated by any cash considerations the Pirates received or salary San Fran has agreed to take on. This is the ideal situation for management to say we have a $60M payroll when it is actually closer to $50M. i.e. "We aren't pocketing the money."
