Red Hots:
His fi rst name is AARON... is making his team-high sixth start of the season...at 3-0 is off to the best start of his career and the best by a Reds pitcher since Bronson Arroyo started last season 5-0...in his previous 5 apps produced 3 quality starts, tied with Lohse and Belisle for second on the staff behind Arroyo’s 4qs...in his 5 starts the Reds went 4-1 and scored 30 runs (6 r/g).

Cy Young:
In 2006 Aaron Harang didn't get a single vote for the Cy Young Award despite leading the National League in strikeouts (216) and complete games (6) and tying for the lead in starts (35) and victories (16)... he is the only pitcher in the 50-year history of that prestigious pitching award to lead his league in both wins and strikeouts and not win it.
